Gary G. Dunham

Gary graduated in 1970 and attended Upper Iowa University for two years. Gary became a Teamster in 1972 working at Cargill Corn in Cedar Rapids, he was elected union steward in 1975 at the plant and was in involved in negotiations for ten years. Gary was hired to work at Local 238 in 1985, he was elected to the Executive Board in 1991 as a Trustee, then as Recording Secretary where he served until 2002. Gary was elected as Principal Officer/Secretary-Treasurer in 2005, he is currently serving his third term as Principal Officer of Local 238 and currently serves as a Public Employee Policy member for the Central Region.  Gary was also elected as Trustee on Joint Council 32's Executive Board, he is currently serving his second term.
